Our children had a wonderful time at Manor Way Primary Academy on Monday 17 October.
Our Year 4 students had a super day. They made spears using twigs, twine and spear heads made of flint. They produced cave art on slate using charcoal. Also, they pretended to be Stone Age hunters and chased a woolly mammoth around the school hall.
The children also looked at the difference between early humans and modern day humans by comparing the skulls of Homo Sapiens and Homo Neanderthals. We had a fantastic day and it really brought our ASPIRE topic alive.
