Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to Tenterfields Primary Academy!

We’re a close-knit, community-focused school with a strong family ethos. With just one class per year group, we offer a personal touch that helps every child thrive. Our nursery provides flexible options, including morning, afternoon, and full-day (30-hour) sessions. We work hand-in-hand with our parents, families, and the wider community to give our kids the best possible start, living by our motto: learning together, growing together.

You’ll find us near the heart of Halesowen, where we’ve been part of the community since 1909. Starting as three separate schools for boys, girls, and infants, we’ve grown over the years, adding a nursery in 1941 and joining the buildings together to form a wonderful library area. Through all these changes, we’ve kept our warm, family atmosphere, and we’re proud of the excellent reputation we’ve built across generations.

We also know how important flexibility is for families, which is why we offer a 30-place breakfast and twilight club every day to help with childcare before and after school.

As part of the Windsor Academy Trust since 2015, we’re excited to share best practices and create something special for all our children.
