Tenterfields Celebrates Black History Month

This week our children had visit from Mrs Mclaughlin, the lead practitioner of the arts at Windsor High School. Mrs Mclaughlin held a number of sessions throughout the day.

The workshops were part of the Black History Month celebrations. We looked at polyrhythms and then some dance steps from Nigeria and Ghana. They finished by using the steps they had learnt and choreographing their own dance.

What a fantastic day our students had!
