Over the last fortnight, Year 6 have been working incredibly hard and we are exceptionally proud of the effort they have shown. Last week, the children worked their socks off during their mock SATs tests and they should feel very proud of how well they have attained. Their focus, determination and positive attitude towards these assessments have been fantastic to see.

Alongside their hard work, the children have also been producing some fabulous writing. They have written engaging stories based on a character who travels back in time to WWII Britain, and it has been wonderful to see their creativity and historical understanding brought together in their work.

The children also enjoyed some exciting experiences recently. On Thursday afternoon, they had great fun exploring the Science Fair and were amazed by the science magician’s show last week, which sparked lots of curiosity and excitement about science.

Year 6 have also been enthusiastically preparing for their final Mother’s Day Tea Party celebration at Tenterfields. It has been lovely to see the care and enthusiasm they have put into getting ready for this special event, and we are really looking forward to celebrating together. 🌷
