Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating talk with Dr Hutchinson about transport in the future. It’s fascinating to know that there is a drone that can carry a human already- is this the future of transport?
We took part in a Severn Trent workshop and assembly as a way to end our Science week work. Did you know that one person uses 150 litres of water per day? It was lovely to see Year 6 getting involved in the assembly and having fun. They also put 100% effort into our workshop and with their measuring, one group was just 2ml away from their actual total!
We have continued with our SATs revision and are doing a great job. We have been practising our word classes, tenses, types of sentences and fractions. Mrs Childs is really impressed with attitude both in lessons and around school. To celebrate the end of a brilliant week, we took part in the whole school continuous provision.
I wonder if it was Jack who drew the chick?
