Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer break. It has been fantastic to see so many familiar faces returning through the classroom doors, full of energy and ready for the exciting journey ahead.
The children have settled into life in Year 6 beautifully, adapting to their new routines with real maturity. It is already clear that this cohort is ready to lead by example; we have had so many pupils eager to show their commitment to our school community by volunteering for various jobs and responsibilities in and around school.
Even more impressive is the enthusiastic response to our Head Boy and Head Girl roles. So many children are eager to apply, and I cannot wait to read their applications and see the leadership qualities they bring to the table.
This week, we spent time discussing our shared goals and expectations for the year ahead, ensuring everyone feels supported and ambitious. We also had a sneak peek at some of the brilliant books, historical topics, and scientific concepts we will be exploring over the coming terms.
With such a positive, motivated group of young people, I just know it is going to be an incredible year. Keep an eye on the class blog for regular updates on our learning and achievements!
