Year 6 Blog - 02.05.2025

Hello! This week year 6 have been doing cricket in PE and on Tuesday 29th April they have been preparing for a cricket tournament in June for some of the children to go to. This includes getting into a group of four and then throwing and catching as while the other two people have to do laps while the others do twenty throws and catches by Megan.

We have also been working hard with our SATs revision. We had great fun playing the ‘Unfair SPaG’ game on Thursday. We worked in teams of 4 to answer SPaG questions. We had to decide before we saw the value of the question whether we would keep our points or give them to another team. Some questions were worth positive points, some were worth negative points! The questions were brilliant, it was the point scores that were the unfair part of the game. Mrs Childs seemed to enjoy this part the most. 🙂
