Year 5 Blog - 24.01.2025

Year 5 had lots of fun dissecting daffodils and learning about the names of different parts of the plant and their functions. They worked in pairs to dissect the plants, then they discussed each part with their partner before photographing their work and uploading it onto Showbie.

Year 5 continued improving their amazing debating skills. This time they were debating the idea of having a four day school week. Most of the children were in favour of this however they all did their best to take on which ever stance they were presented with, and fought for their side even if they did not agree with it! Each group elected a leader and they wowed me with their organisation and communication skills. Well done Year 5!
