What another wonderful two weeks!

We’ve been thoroughly enjoying our new English topic based on a short film called One Small Step. It follows the journey of a little girl called Luna who dreams of becoming an astronaut one day. But as she grows up, she faces some challenges that try to knock her down! We have also completed two experience days focusing on the book The Heart and the Bottle by Oliver Jeffers. We have thought about what emotions we have felt when we have failed at something in life and created our very own class heart in a bottle.

In Maths, we have been looking at line graphs and have had a go at making our own stories up for some blank line graphs. We have faced some challenges along the way but everyone has continued to work hard and be resilient which is fantastic to see!

In science, we have been continuing with our topic on Earth and Space. This has definitely been a class favourite so far! We have learned about the different planets in the solar system, taken part in more practical lessons, and become more knowledgeable on how day and night are formed.
