Thank you to all the dads and dudes who joined us this week. It was great to see everyone and Year 4 did a fabulous job with their song.

To save you the nightly toothbrushing battle, Year 4 ran a brilliant science experiment this week. Using eggshells to mimic tooth enamel, they soaked them in water, cola, and orange juice to test the real-world damage.

The eye-opening results:

• Water: Completely spotless and strong.

• Cola: Heavily stained, brown, and sticky.

• Orange Juice: Shockingly eroded, soft, and chalky!

Our young scientists learned that natural fruit acids can be just as damaging as sugary sodas. Ask your child about the experiment tonight - it might just inspire them to brush for two minutes, completely negotiation-free!

Following our egg experiment - where cola and juice shockingly damaged "enamel" - Year 4 moved further down the digestive system! The children drew life-sized outlines of a classmate and labeled the major organs. From teeth to tummy, our scientists love discovering exactly how the human body processes what we eat and drink. 

In PE, Year 4 has been out on the field playing rounders and having an absolute blast! We’ve been practicing our batting, catching, and fielding skills while working brilliantly in teams. It’s wonderful to see such fantastic sportsmanship, high energy, and big smiles. Keep up the amazing teamwork, our superstars!
