What a fantastic start to the year! Our Year 4 students have settled in brilliantly and shown such enthusiasm. They are already demonstrating wonderful teamwork and a fantastic attitude towards their learning.
On Friday, we had an amazing workshop with the incredible Paralympian archer, Mel Clarke. She was an absolute inspiration, sharing a fantastic motto for the year. We were even lucky enough to hold her Olympic torch and wear her London 2012 silver medal. What an unforgettable experience!

This week, we had an enlightening visit from Geraldine at the Blue Cross, who taught us all about looking after our pets. We learned that a good environment, a healthy diet, companionship, and being a responsible owner are all vital for our animals' well-being. Today, we've taken our learning a step further by beginning a research project on National Parks. We'll be focusing on the amazing animals that live there and discussing the positive and negative impacts of tourism. It's a great way to link our understanding of pet care to wider conservation efforts.

I am so excited to see what the next couple of weeks brings.
