Year 3 Blog - 18.07.2025

What an incredible year it has been! I genuinely can’t believe we’ve reached the end of Year 3 already – the time has flown by. It has been a year full of memories, laughter, learning and growth, and I feel so lucky to have shared it with such a wonderful group of children.

We’ve packed so much in: from a fantastic Sports Day full of energy and smiles, to the excitement of World Book Day with some truly brilliant costumes. The children shone in their performances, amazed us with their talents during Tenter’s Got Talent, and brought enthusiasm to every special event we had. Aside from all our wonderful events we have also enjoyed all our topics; whole class reads, stone age workshops, map reading to spot all the countries in Europe, writing poems and wonderful stories far too much to get everything in. 

But more than anything, it’s the day-to-day moments that have made this year so special – the kindness they’ve shown one another, the determination in their learning, the curiosity, the teamwork and, of course, the giggles along the way. The children have worked incredibly hard this year and have made fantastic progress in so many ways. I am so proud of each and every one of them.

A heartfelt thank you for your support throughout the year and for the lovely cards and generous gifts – it truly means a lot. It has been an absolute pleasure to teach your children and to watch them grow in confidence and ability.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer holiday – full of rest, sunshine and happy memories. I’ll still be around in September, so I’ll definitely be checking in on them… you can’t get rid of me that easily!

The children have smashed Year 3, and I know they’re more than ready for the next exciting chapter.
