This week in Year 1 has been full of festive fun and super learning. We have learnt our phonics sounds shared on dojo in our groups and have tried hard with trickier special friends spellings like ‘ure’ (sure it’s pure). In maths we have enjoyed recapping addition and subtraction in fun festive ways, and we have enjoyed finishing our geography unit with a quiz! We have enjoyed our national elf service day, Christmas jumper day, meeting Santa in the grotto and dressing in our pjs to watch a film. What a wonderful end to the year we have had! Have a great holiday no matter how you celebrate it and we look forward to seeing everyone back in January for more learning fun.
