Year 1 has been buzzing with activity this week! In phonics, we've been revisiting our Set 3 sounds, and any extra practice you can squeeze in at home would be fantastic for reinforcing their knowledge. We were also excited to send home Numbots logins this week, opening up a world of online maths fun for the children to enjoy. In class, our maths focus has been on addition within 100, using number lines to help us. The children have truly shone in English this week, creating some wonderful pieces of work that we're so proud of! In cooking, our budding chefs practiced their food preparation skills in cooking, carefully cutting and juicing fruit, while in art our artists explored texture and mark-making by creating charcoal prints with feathers.
