Reception Blog Post - 09.01.2026

We have had a great start to the new year in Reception Class with lots of wintery fun!  The children enjoyed exploring the snow and have been studying the process of melting, both inside and outside the classroom.  We have been enjoying our exciting new topic of ‘Heroes’ by thinking about superheroes.  We have made our own super hero masks and have enjoyed starting our new whole class reading text, ‘Supertato’ and in maths, we have been exploring the composition of numbers to 10 by finding the different bonds within these numbers.  What a busy week we have had!
