What a wonderful time we have had continuing our learning about heroes!  This time, our focus has been on heroes in our community and we invited Nurse Alex to come into school to answer our questions about nurses.  We found out so much about the role.  Thank you Nurse Alex!  We have been enjoying reading our new ditty sheets and ditty books in phonics and are becoming very confident with reading independently.  This week, we have also been exploring observational art.  We collected our own choice of interesting things to draw and observed what they look like as we sketched our own copies.  Great work, Reception!
