This week, Reception class have continued to learn about oceans. We enjoyed the next part of ‘The Snail and the Whale’ and learned about pollution in the oceans. On Monday, we helped the sea creatures in the Tenter Ocean who had become trapped in rubbish and oil that had spilled into the waters. We decided that we should recycle as much rubbish as we can and never leave our litter lying around. In our artwork, we have been exploring ‘The Snail’ by Henri Matisse and we have made our own artwork in this style. On Tuesday, we had a fabulous time for this year’s Great Science Share. The classroom was transformed into a science laboratory and study. We revisited some of our favourite investigations and tried many new ones too. Best of all, we got to share our science with some of our grown ups! What a great week!
