What a great start to the year the children have had in Reception Class!  They have all been making new friends, learning new routines and exploring a new environment.  We started the year by learning about why we come to school and exploring our emotions.  We also had lots of fun, learning about dinosaurs and exploring our whole class reading text, ‘Harry and the Dinosaurs go to School’.  We had a huge surprise when we found a dinosaur egg in our classroom and then discovered a Care-o-saurus had hatched out of the egg!  The children have decided that they will be like the Care-o-saurus by looking after each other, helping each other and always being kind.  We cannot wait for all of the fun and learning adventures that await us in Reception Class this year!
