Reception Class have had a fantastic fortnight exploring learning through our new whole class reading text, ‘Funnybones’.  We have thought about the bones in our bodies and have made pictures of skeletons as well as using our fine motor skills to uncover different bones under the sand.  We have been learning key parts of the story and telling the story in our own words.  We have thought about our own families and where we live.  In maths, we have been learning about patterns and size.  We have made our own patterns using nature's treasures and have explored patterns based on ‘big’ and ‘little’.  Thank you to everyone who has helped the children to collect ‘Autumn Treasures’ for us to use in our continuous provision.  We have really enjoyed them!  Please keep them coming in.
