We have had a great start to the year with our new topic of ‘Superheroes’!

In Whole Class Reading, we have been reading the book, ‘Supertato’ and we have enjoyed making posters of the vegetable characters who are in despair and of the villainous Evil Pea! 

We even made our own Supertatoes to help us to engage with and retell the story.

In maths we have been learning about numbers to 10 and we are practising counting with accuracy and subitising numbers to 10.

We have had great fun playing lots of games where we can practise these two key skills.
