An Out-of-This-World Adventure in Nursery! 🚀
What a stellar week we've had in Nursery! Our little astronauts have truly embraced our "Journey to Space" theme, and it's been an absolute blast.
We kicked off our cosmic adventures by learning a brand new rhyme, "Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer," which quickly became a class favorite! We even designed and built our very own magnificent spaceship, perfect for role-playing exciting space missions and imagining ourselves soaring through the sta
rs.
We also enjoyed a fantastic reading of "10 Little Aliens," complete with alien masks and some wonderfully creative vocal sounds from our imaginative class!
Our mathematical minds have been hard at work too, taking a deep dive into the number 5. We explored both the amount and the numeral, making sure we understand this important number inside and out. Learning is always more fun with games, so we also took turns with some exciting bubble-popping activities, which brought lots of giggles and encouraged turn-taking.
But our learning wasn't just about space! We also looked at how plants grow, from tiny seeds to towering stems. During our yoga session, we even pretended to be a tiny seed, slowly growing and stretching towards the sun. It was a wonderfully calming and imaginative experience!
Next week, our space adventures will continue! We'll be exploring the vibrant colours of different planets and unleashing our creativity by creating our very own planetary masterpieces. Stay tuned for more cosmic fun!
