What a busy and magical few weeks it has been in the Nursery! From the excitement of the weather to welcoming new faces, our classroom has been full of energy and smiles.
The recent snow brought so much joy to our outdoor play. The children loved wrapping up warm and heading outside to explore the winter wonderland. We practiced our physical skills by scooping, patting, and building with the snow, and had plenty of conversations about how it feels and why it melts. It was a fantastic sensory experience for everyone! We even spotted s
ome icicles.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome several new children to the Tenterfields family this term. It has been wonderful to watch our "veteran" nursery pupils step up as buddies, showing their new classmates where the toys live and how we play together. Watching these new friendships blossom is always a highlight of our day.

This term, we have put a big focus on PSED (Personal, Social, and Emotional Development). Through dedicated group sessions, we have been talking about what it means to make "Rainbow Choices"—our way of describing kind, helpful, and positive behaviors.
The children have been working hard on:
● Sharing and taking turns with our favorite toys.
● Using our "kind hands" and "kind words."
● Helping our friends when they feel stuck.
We are so proud of how the children
are learning to manage their feelings and look out for one another. Keep an eye out for those Rainbow Choice dojo’s being achieved throughout the upcoming weeks.
