Our First Weeks in Nursery!

What a wonderful start to the year we've had in our nursery class! It has been so lovely to welcome all of our new friends, and we're so proud of how well everyone has settled into our daily routine.

Getting to Know Our Class

We've been busy learning all about our classroom and our new friends. We've introduced and practiced our 'Rainbow Rules' every day, which help us remember how to be kind, respectful, and helpful to each other. These rules have created such a positive and happy environment for everyone to learn and play in.

A highlight for the children has been meeting our class pets—our two guinea pigs! The children have been learning how to be gentle with them, as well as helping to feed them. It's so sweet to watch them show such care and responsibility.

Fun and Games

We've already had so much fun exploring different activities. We've started our P.E. sessions, which are a great way for us to practice our gross motor skills and get our wiggles out. Our Forest School sessions have also been a huge hit, allowing us to get outside, connect with nature, and explore our surroundings.

One of our favorite memories so far has to be our Teddy Bears' picnic lunch! The children had a fantastic time bringing their favorite teddy bears to school for a special picnic.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the term brings! We're off to such a great start and are so excited to continue our adventures together.
