Easter half-term is just around the corner, and we know families are looking for ways to keep their little ones entertained and well-fed. We've rounded up a fantastic selection of local activities and budget-friendly meal options to make this holiday break egg-stra special!
Looking for a unique and engaging holiday club? Jam Coding is offering a fantastic Easter Holiday Club packed with digital fun! Kids can dive into the world of coding and computing, building games, creating stop-motion animations, and exploring robotics. But it's not all screens – they'll also enjoy a variety of offline activities, including sports and Easter-themed crafts. It's the perfect blend of learning and fun!

🐟 Leisure Centre Activities: Duncan Edwards, Crystal, and Halesowen leisure centres are offering free swimming sessions, family disability swims, soft play, and £1 football sessions at The Dell Stadium. Full details can be found at www.dbleisure.co.uk/school-holiday-activities.
📚 Library Activities: Enjoy Lego, K’Nex, spring and Easter crafts, Rattle and Rhyme, storytelling, treasure hunts, board games, and badge-making. Check your local library’s Facebook page for details.
🔍 Easter Trails: Free trails will be available in Dudley, Stourbridge, Brierley Hill, and Sedgley from March 25–April 7. Collect a trail sheet from the library and return it for a sticker and a Charlie the Chick toy (subject to availability).
🎭 Theatre & Entertainment:
Free Comedy Magic Show with balloon modelling by Will-e-droppit at Coseley Library (March 26, 11am).
Dudley Marketplace Fun (March 27) – crazy golf, face painting, balloon artists, Reggae Boys, and colouring stations.
Dudley Museum Events: Free geology talk (March 30), dinosaur crafts (April 4), guided tour (April 6).
Red House Glass Cone: Easter crafts and a site trail (March 29–30).

We know school holidays can be a challenge when it comes to meal planning, but there are plenty of places offering free or budget-friendly meals for children this Easter. Here’s where you can enjoy great food without stretching your budget:
✅ Asda Cafes – Kids (under 16) eat for £1, including a piece of fruit.
✅ Sainsbury’s – Kids’ meals are available for £1 when an adult buys a hot meal for £5.20+.
✅ Morrisons – Kids eat for free with an adult meal purchase of £4.50+, including fruit and a drink.
✅ Café Rouge – Free kids’ meal (two or three courses) with any adult main meal from April 1–12.
✅ Bill’s Restaurants – Up to two kids eat free when one adult orders a main dish (March 25–April 12, weekdays only).
✅ Bella Italia – Free kids’ meal on Thursdays (ages 2–11), including three courses and a drink. Kids eat for £1 from Sunday–Wednesday (4–6pm).
✅ Yo! Sushi – Free kiddo bento box with a £10 adult spend (March 25–April 12, weekdays only).
✅ TGI Fridays – Free kid’s meal when you order an adult’s main (for Stripes Rewards Members).
✅ Brewers Fayre – Up to two free kids’ breakfasts with each adult breakfast.
✅ Sizzling Pubs – One child eats for £1 with every adult main meal (Monday–Friday, from 12pm).
✅ Beefeater – Two kids eat free with every adult breakfast purchased.
