What a truly spectacular week we have had to round off our school year! We are so incredibly proud of all our wonderful children. Whether they are preparing to take their next big step into Reception or getting ready for another exciting year of fun and learning with us in Nursery, we had the absolute best time celebrating them all.

Here is a peek at what we have been exploring during our final fun-filled week:

Sensational Summer Exploring

We dove headfirst into all things summer this week! Our sensory turf tray was transformed into a beach haven of "sun, sea, and sand." The children absolutely loved scooping, pouring, and sprinkling our vibrant blue and yellow rice. It was wonderful to hear them chatting away, using all their key vocabulary to describe the textures and colours.

Creative Hands and Ice Lollies

Our little artists have been very busy indeed.

Sparkly Treats: We decorated paper ice lollies using beautiful, colourful gems.

Flower Painting: Using our fingers, we carefully stamped bright paint to make beautiful petals on our flower drawings.

Summer Posters: We used all the colours of the rainbow to colour in big, bright summer posters.

Maths with a Cherry on Top!

On our maths table, things got delicious! The children designed and "made" their very own toy ice cream sundaes. We used this yummy activity to practice our counting and comparison skills, discussing which sundaes had "more" scoops and which had "less."

A Huge Thank You from the Nursery Team!

Thank you so much to all of our families for your incredible support over this past year. To our leavers moving up to Reception: we will miss you so much, but we know you are going to be absolute superstars! To our returners: we cannot wait to see how much you grow and learn next term.
