How to Apply for a Primary School Place
Admissions to Tenterfields Primary Academy are managed by Dudley Council.
To apply for a reception place for your child, you will be contacted directly by the council. You can submit your application online or by completing a paper form. In April, Dudley Council will notify you of your child's school allocation.
Applications for September 2025 will open on 1 October 2024. For more information and to apply, please click here.

Important dates for September 2025 Intake

- Online Applications Open: 1 October 2024
- Return Date for Paper Applications: 15 January 2025 by 5 PM*
- Return Date for Online Applications: 15 January 2025 by midnight*
- Decision Emails to Parents: 16 April 2025 after 2 PM
- Decision Letters to Parents: 16 April 2025 by 2nd class post
- Appeals Hearing Period: June/July 2025
*Please note: Failure to submit your application by these deadlines may impact the outcome.

Attending a nursery that is attached to a primary school does not guarantee admission to that primary school or provide any advantage in the admissions process.
